About 

The Eller African American Honorary's Leadership Empowerment & Academic Development Program (LEAD) is a program designed to help incoming pre-business freshmen have a successful transition into college life.

The three core values of LEAD are Leadership, Academic Success and Community. Students who master these core values have a higher rate of achievement in college.

By joining this program, students will be connected to peers who have proven their success at the Eller College who are dedicated to help them become just as successful. Through these connections students will receive mentorship, feel a sense of community, and of course have a lot of fun!

Requirements

The requirements of the LEAD program are:

  • Must be a Freshman 
  • Weekly meetings on Mondays from 5-7pm
  • Weekly study hall Thursday's 4-6pm
  • Two meetings per semester with your Academic Advisor
  • Visit professors' office hours twice a semester for English, MIS, and Math
  • Willingness to have fun!
